A candidate for this post should possess a good first degree plus Ph.D in Library and Information Science or any other related discipline not less than ten (10) years of professional and research experience since becoming Librarian II in a University out of which three (3) years must have been spent on Reader Librarian Cadre and must be registered with Librarians Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN). A strong proof of continuing research with appreciable evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals published both locally and internationally is required.
